Children’s workshops
Children’s workshops
Want to get creative during your visit? During the holidays, artist Joanna Smolarz regularly gives creative workshops (in Dutch).
Each workshop is an adventure full of creativity and fun – perfect for curious children who love to work with their hands. Pop in and let your creativity run wild!
Various activities
Together with Joanna, you will create the most beautiful works of art. Each workshop is inspired by the port and uses all sorts of materials and techniques. Craft your own marine pals from driftwood, such as a jolly crab or wacky whale. Create a colourful port drawing on stones from the Maasvlakte beach, decorate oyster shells, or mould your own fossil model. There are also regular ‘Mystery workshops’, where you’ll just have to wait and see what surprises await. Pop in and make your day at Portlantis complete with a fun souvenir.
Practical information
The workshops take place on different days between 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., and you can join whenever you want. The various activities are offered on a rotating basis. Participation is included in the admission ticket. No reservation is required.
