Programme A: The port of Rotterdam
Pupils are introduced to ‘the port’, a world unto itself. Which ships load and unload cargo in Rotterdam every day? How do all these different goods find their way to, say, Germany or France? What items at your home or school come from the port?
This port programme gives pupils a chance to experience the port up close. And discover the importance of the port for all of us. Programme A is suitable from grade 6 onwards.
Visiting Portlantis
